surpreender quando vejo as notícias sobre o caos que Trump promove, surpreendo-me
por ainda ficar surpreendida.

para o Supremo Tribunal – um cargo para toda a vida!! - diz que era virgem ao
longo dos anos que passou na escola secundária e durante os anos de
faculdade... para se defender quanto às alegações de conduta sexual inadequada.
Uma afirmação para todo o mundo ouvir!
Inibições?! Não existem.
Não existem quaisquer reservas nem
quaisquer exclusões sobre os temas abordados nos meios de comunicação social. É
este o mundo em que vivemos. Transparência? Só quando convem!
Parece que ainda há pessoas que
acreditam que Bret Kavanaugh tivesse sido sempre um “coroinha” – “altar boy” –
como dizem os brasileiros.

Are there no Republicans with enough of a spine now that McCain is gone to say, 'no more, enough'?

This story gets worse with each day. Women are demeaned when they come forward and white men are excused for dispicable behaviour. These topics need to be discussed with tennagers, male and female. It is a teachable moment in history.

ResponderEliminarPor isso diz-me uma coisa, só para ver se eu percebi: foram desenterrar um livro do tempo da faculdade, de quando ela tinha 17 ou 18 anos, para acusar o homem?
Não será um daqueles casos que a comunicação social alimenta e acaba depois por ser too much fuss for nothing?

EliminarO livro a que se referem é o livro de finalistas onde ele escreveu determinados comentários/pensamentos que não se coadunam com a imagem de “menino de altar” que ele quer transmitir e com o ambiente escolar na altura.
A dra. Ford, psicóloga e professora universitária, pediu que fosse feita uma investigação por parte do FBI, mas ninguém está interessado nessa investigação. Do que é que o Senato e Kavanaugh têm receio? Se o juiz “tem a consciência limpa”, deveria ser o primeiro a pedir que fosse feita uma investigação “para limpar o seu nome”.
Espero que a dra. Ford seja bem sucedida nesta quinta-feira. Acredito nela.

Nunca “engracei” com o homem! É daquelas pessoas que não me cativam. Pensei ser injusta, afinal só o vejo na televisão e estar a fazer juizos de valor desta forma não é propriamente muito justo. Mas havia ali “qualquer coisa”. Para além do que ele pensa sobre “Roe v. Wade”, é evidente.

EliminarAh, how I would love to comment on your post, but I cannot transcribe your language to my disadvantage yet from the responders, I perceive that it is probably about US politics. Yes, it is in terrible shape as the parties and society are polarised. Despite my dismay, I have faith and hope that we will overcome, even if it takes generations, which I fear may be the result of our current administration. But I love my country and work to change the system. GET OUT THE VOTE!!
